Children's Ministry

Leader: Pastor Deborah May

Our children’s ministry encompasses Wee Chapel (for 3’s-5’s), Children’s Church (for 1st-6th graders), home Bible study groups, summer fellowship events (Family Fun Days), and occasional outreaches. We challenge kids to encounter the Living God, to defend the faith, and to actively serve the Lord in ministry – even as children. Children’s Church and Wee Chapel meet each Sunday following the morning worship and announcements.

Family Life Groups

Leader: Ted & Christa Czochanski

Meets: Weekly (beginning the first week of April)

Our Family Life Groups are what take a Sunday Morning Service’s message from informational to transformational. Through small groups meeting in homes, like the New Testament church did, Family Life Groups are designed for fellowshipping, learning and growth, as we combine our experience and knowledge to further examine a topic and apply it to our lives. Click here for more information on our Family Life Groups.

Media Ministry

Audios of our Sunday morning services are available here. If you would like a CD copy of a message, please contact the church office. Videos featured during our Sunday morning services can be found here*Some videos cannot be displayed on our website for copyright reasons.

Missions

Leader: Gordon Durham

Bigfork Chapel has been involved in missions for many years and currently supports thirteen missionaries in many countries around the world. In addition to world missions, we are always actively seeking ways to reach out to our community with the love of Jesus. The church also has a strong relationship with all seven of the Indian Reservations in Montana. In Native Ministry our goal is to support the Pastors and the Churches so they can take God’s word to the people.

We have just scratched the surface of what Bigfork Chapel will be doing in missions in the future. God is moving mightily in our church; touching lives within our wall and around the world.

Nursery

Leader: Krista Rufenach

We have a wonderful group of volunteers who work to provide loving care for your newborn baby – 3 year old toddler during our Sunday Worship service! We read to them, sing and play with them, and tell them about our amazing Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the first “stage” of Children’s Ministry that is provided here at Bigfork Chapel.

Christian Education

Meets: 9:30 on Sunday mornings.

Currently we offer an Adult Sunday School Class.

Intercessory Prayer

Leader: Violet Fortune

Meets: Wednesdays at 10:00am

Our intercessory prayer team spends time each week interceding for needs within our church and our community, as well as for our nation and its leaders. If you would like prayer, please fill out our online prayer request form and it will go directly to our intercessory prayer team and the prayer chain.

Men's Ministry

Meets: Monthly

Bigfork Chapel Men’s ministry helps to equip men to become better, husbands, fathers, sons and community members. There are opportunities to build relationships with one another through regular times to get together, including a monthly men’s breakfast. The men also work together, helping others within the church, the community and abroad.

Our monthly men’s breakfast is at 7:30am the first Saturday of each month.

Music Ministry

Leader: Pastor Nicholas Van Oort

At Bigfork Chapel, worship is a very important aspect of our lives. We were created to worship God, and our worship is a response to who He is, and what He has done. Through worship we seek to glorify the name of our Creator, and have a tangible encounter with His presence. Another part of the Music Ministry is special music, which offers opportunities for individuals to share the gifts & talents that the Lord has blessed them with.
